Explore Kenia to the fullest and visit the national parks and local cities, Nakuru lake, Victoria lake, and the beautiful beaches on the east coast.
Kenya is an immense land with a capacity for healing. ~ Yvonne Owuor
Explore our travel route. We skipped the National Park Masai Mara and decided to visit several other ones.
Do you have time to explore Kenya? Here is an example route. We stayed one month, so feel free to extend the day's recommendations—first, an overview of the map. The northern part of the country is less explored and drier.
Kisumu
Length of stay: ~ 3 days
Exploring the city. Getting to know the Kenyan mentality.
Nakuru
~ 3 days
Seeing wild animals and visiting some parks.
Naivasha
~ 2 days
Stopover before going to Nairobi. Local life and food.
Nairobi
~3 days
Busy area. No specific tourist attractions to visit but it's perfect to dive into the local life even more. Barely any tourism.
Konza
~1 day
Another stopover. You can't even call it a village. They just started to build a few houses, including one guesthouse. I guess you can't go more local.
Mombasa
~ 7 days
A lot of things to do and to enjoy. Highly recommend staying here for a longer time. Wonderful beaches with amazing local food and night life.
