Finally! It was time to visit Peru, and we went straight from the German summer into the Peruvian winter with minus degrees at night. I was cuddling up in three blankets and being lucky to have packed two more pants. But the insane cold was worth the breathtaking view on the Titicaca lake, the warm and lovely prepared street food, and the street dogs that would accompany along the trip.
